This futurist believes that we individually and collectively CREATE the future. While an asteroid might destroy the earth or a tornado could wipe out our community, short of these natural disasters, we are masters of our own fate.  In a study of the graduates of Yale University in 1950, it was found only 3% had written goals for the future.  Twenty years later, that 3% had 97% of the wealth of the class!  In serving clients, I proceed on the assumption that goals can be set and achieved with forethought and perseverance.
